ELDECO management was looking for a cost effective, scalable solution to streamline their operations and project monitoring. After a small study ShaktiSoft Projects team found out that real issues were redundant processes and inadequate IT infrastructure to facilitate information flow. The challenge was to provide a homogenous solution that could scale from very small to very big setup spread across cities. An Intranet based solution emerged as the obvious choice. Now users at ELDECO do not require any special software on client machines to access their enterprise wide applications. IE4 is good enough to access the project data from within the office or outside through dial up access. Considering the success of the Project planning module new domains were developed as intranet applications like BuildNet, is integrated Intranet Software for managing the Customer Information, Payment Schedules, Project Budget Information, and Payment Information. Drilling the information from company level summary to the last level is just a matter of few clicks. It helped ELDECO plan it's project expenses, monitor the budgets and at the same time keeping track of receivables each project. Taking decisions against latest and accurate data is always easy and reliable.
