Quality Assurance Engineering

Our team at Quality Assurance Engineering Center is responsible to review and interpret software business and functional requirements and specifications in order to:

	Develop user test plans and strategies, both manual and automated.
	Execute tests ensuring code meets requirements, functions correctly, and adheres to standards.
	Analyze test results and document and report software defects and discrepancies.
	Recommend corrective action where possible and work closely with the development team to assist in problem resolution.
	Perform regression testing as necessary.
	Create and maintain test data as required.
	Perform usability testing.
	Understand and enforce software quality standards and application implementation standards.

Responsibilities

	Set up test environments in our lab and at our clients' sites
	Develop clear and concise test plans and suites, test code, test cases, test scripts and defect reports
	Manage workflow on projects by establishing and meeting project deadlines
	Provide day-to-day guidance of project teams and contribute to their technical development
	Provide feedback on performance of team members
	Review defect reports and present status reports to client
	Assist the QA team with development
	Perform ad hoc and exploratory testing beyond pre-existing test cases

Qualifications

	8 + years with minimum 4 years as Test Lead/ Senior Tester experience
	Must have a strong understanding of testing standards/methodologies and/or software testing principles and test tools
	Understanding of one or more leading automated test tools from Rational, Segue or Mercury Interactive
	White-box testing expertise
	Understanding of the Software Development Cycle
	Understanding of Windows 2000 and Unix environment
	Knowledge of one or more programming languages preferably C, C++ or Java
	Understanding of enterprise technical issues, e.g., networking, database and the Internet
	Basic understanding of software and hardware configurations
	Excellent verbal and written communication skills
	Strong leadership, time management and organizational skills
	Ability to evaluate new software products/applications

Quality Assurance Architect

Location:

Noida

Responsibilities:

	Ability to write and run manual test scripts
	Convert manual test scripts to automated test scripts using tools like Mercury, Rational or Segue. Develop, modify and run manual test scripts

Qualifications:

	4 + years experience in client server or web based projects
	IT client/server environment knowledge and Web knowledge
	Knowledge of Software Development Cycle
	Essential knowledge of C, C++ or Java language
	Quality assurance and testing background with White box testing a must Knowledge of Unix
